My research grows out of a long engagement with complexity science, including doctoral work on cascades and information propagation in networks at the Centre for Complexity Science, Imperial College London.

The Linear Threshold Model (LTM) of cascades, percolation, and self-organized criticality continues to inform my thinking: simple local rules can generate collective intelligence, modularity, and robust information flow.

These principles guide both ny theoretical investigations and my applied work in AI/ML, a basic research approach from first principles.
